Bio

Ashley Stephens is a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor, licensed in nine states. She has completed her doctoral degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2023. She earned her master’s in social work from East Tennessee State University in 2011 and her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009. 

As a therapist, she provides compassionate and inclusive counseling services to those in need.

Ashley has worked with severe and persistent mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, and homelessness, and has trained in a variety of therapeutic styles.

Whether the client needs more structured services or an accountability partner to get through to reach their goals, clients can expect to feel supported, listened to, and cared for.

Feeling heard and understood is vital and the goal is to help individuals feel safe to explore their current barriers in order to progress past them and move forward to a better tomorrow.

    I believe whole-heartedly that the client is the expert on their life, that my job is to guide and support when things feel lost. I use an eclectic and humanistic approach, keeping at the center that there are systems, structures, and processes in place to keep marginalized communities marginalized.

    I use motivation interviewing, harm reduction, CBT, ACT, and body-based works to help clients feel bettr.
